Effective Presentations: a series of YouTube Screencasts

This is the first of a series of screen casts that I’ll be posting on YouTube. The idea is that if you watch them all in sequence then you’ll have enough suggestions to turn yourself into a confident and fluent presenter.

Part Two of Effective Presentations is all about making sure that what we say in our presentations is always appropriate to the needs & wants of our audience. There are four common sense tips to check out & all of them are easy to apply.

Part Three of Effective Presentations deals with managing the expectations of our audience. The goal here is not to simply satisfy. Rather we should be looking to exceed and delight people’s expectations of our presentations. There are ten simple recommendations, all based on recent qualitative research.
